Trusted Organizations To Donate To Palestine

We’re overwhelmed with all the messages of solidarity and support we’ve been receiving from friends all over the world. Several of you reached out to ask how you can support Palestine during this time, so we’ve compiled a list of organizations and campaigns you can donate to. We’ve also compiled a list of volunteering opportunities in Palestine, which we continue to update.

For now, please continue to share what’s happening in Sheikh Jarrah*, in Gaza, in ‘48, and in Palestine as a whole. The last couple of months have only proved that that our voices do can transpire change, and that among all the disheartening news we’ve been experiencing and sharing, there is hope for the freedom of our land and people.

*Important note on Sheikh Jarrah: residents of Sheikh Jarrah (Sheikh Jarrah Units) have explicitly stated that they are not asking for any sort of financial aid or donations at the moment. They call upon supporters and allies to instead be physically present at Sheikh Jarrah, to share the current expulsions and ethnic cleansing in the Jerusalem neighborhood, and to call Israel out on its actions.

Here is a list of urgent relief campaigns and organizations you can donate to support Gaza:
The Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA)

MECA works to protect the rights and improve the lives of children in the Middle East through aid, empowerment, and education. The MECA team is currently distributing food parcels in all areas of Gaza, and visiting the schools with displaced families to see what is needed while also supporting medical aid to their NGO partners.

> Want to know about grassroots efforts to make change in Palestine? Attend BuildPalestine Social Innovation Summit on October 7&8, Designing for Unity

The Palestinian people have long been challenged by forced fragmentation within the homeland and beyond its borders in exile. Yet the diversity of our experiences may well prove to be the bedrock of a deep, lasting and authentic unity.
What does it mean to be Palestinian today? And, in the midst of struggle, how do we not lose sight of the society that we wish to build? How do we ensure that unity is a reflection of the rich diversity that is the Palestinian experience? Can we actively ‘design for unity’ in a way that crosses geographic, economic and political divides within Palestine and beyond?
This year’s Summit topics include Civic Participation, Political Trust, Diaspora Activism, Healing & Liberation, Agritourism and much more! Join us for 2 days filled with inspiration, contemplation, and analysis on the state of our community.
