How To Turn On OTG Of Android Mobile Phone

OTG (ON THE GO) functionality was originally supported by the bottom of Android mobile phones (Android 4.2 or above), but for various reasons, some manufacturers shielded the OTG functionality. So how can mobile phones without OTG function turn on OTG function? There are two ways for reference.

1. Turning on OTG by adding code to the bottom of Android system
Most mobile phone manufacturers disable the OTG function by deleting the OTG code, which can be turned on by adding the support code to the system.

Step 1: To get root privileges for the Android phone;

Step 2: Install root explorer file management software;

Step 3: Open Root Explorer Manager, open system / etc / vold.fstab system file with text editor, write the following code to the file, save and quit and restart the phone to open the OTG function.

2. Installing OTG assistant software to make the Android phone have OTG function
Step 1: To get root privileges for the phone;

Step 2: Install and open OTG assistant APP, connect U disk or store hard disk through OTG data line;

Step 3: Click mount to use OTG function to read the contents of USB storage peripherals.

Step 4: By installing Root Explorer File Manager, you can find the U disk connected to OTG. File path: root directory / storage / UsbOtgDrives.

Opening OTG in this way does not support connecting keyboard and mouse.

These two methods of opening OTG function need to ROOT the mobile phone, and get the highest privilege. Please operate with caution. Therefore, it is suggested that before operation, it should be clear whether the mobile phone has OTG function.
