People from all over the world are standing up against the injustice that the people of Palestine are being put through. Many famous artists and celebrities have also used their social media platform to spread awareness on what is happeneing, and to show their support towards Palestinian families.

The Israel-Palestine War
Palestine is currently under attack, with men, women and children dying everyday at the hands of the Israel state.

A wave of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza has took place as violence raged on into this morning. On 7th and 10th May, forces stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque, which is one of the most holy places for muslims, and unleashed tear gases and stun grenades inside.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said more than 305 Palestinian worshippers were injured and at least 228 taken to hospital following violence at the Al Aqsa mosque compound on Monday, per Sky News.

Palestinian militants have fired more than 300 rockets towards Israel since Monday night, injuring 31 Israelis, the BBC reports, while Israel says its airstrikes on Gaza have hit 130 targets, with at least 43 Palestinians killed, including more than 10 children. More than 700 Palestinians were hurt in clashes, while six Israeli civilians were hurt by rocket fire.

Celebrties who showed their support towards Palestine
Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid
The Hadid siblings all were born in Palestine, so it’s obvious how much their hearts must be breaking on seeing their birth place being burnt to the ground. They have been using their social media handles to continuously spread information about the injustice against the palestinians, and have been showing their support towards Palestine.

Bella Hadid shared a series of posts on her Instagram that explained the current situation, and showed her support towards the oppressed. Gigi Hadid and Anwar Hadid have been doing the same.

“There is NO place for this !!! Especially in 2021!!!! it has always been#freepalestine. ALWAYS. I have a lot to say about this but for now , please read and educate yourself. This is not about religion. This is not about spewing hate on one or the other. This is about Israeli colonization , ethnic cleansing , military occupation and apartheid over the Palestinian people that has been going on for YEARS!” Bella captioned her post.

“I stand with my Palestinian brothers and sisters , I will protect and support you as best as I can. I LOVE YOU.”

Zayn Malik
Zayn Malik also took to his social media accounts to show his devastation towards the ongoing situation, and showed his support towards the Palestinians.

“I stand with the Palestinian people and support their resistance to colonization and protection of their human rights. My heart aches for the families who have lost loved ones. We can not stand as silent witnesses to children being orphaned and murdered and not demand for the human rights of all Palestinians! This must end. Free Palestine.”, Zayn captioned his post.

Dua Lipa
While Dua Lipa had a busy night where she won two awards at the Brit Awards, she still spoke up against the Israel state. She posted a series of stories which gave out instructions on what people can do to help out the ones suffering in Palestine.
